Maurice Lacroix unveils the avant-garde timepiece for Only Watch auction that has captured the essence of artistic expression and Swiss watchmaking precision. This year’s creation draws inspiration from the captivating works of Victor Vasarely, celebrating a symphony of vibrant colors in a harmonious blend of horological innovation.
The watch is housed in a 43mm sapphire case, a first for the Maison. The sapphire case allows for unobstructed views of the skeletonized movement, which is the Manufacture Calibre ML330. The movement is decorated with a rainbow motif, which is a nod to the work of artist Victor Vasarely, who was one of the inspirations for this year’s Only Watch.
The dial of the watch is also a work of art. The anthracite sunray dial is contrasted with the rainbow perimeter of the hour and minute disks. The black M-logo and Super-LumiNova indexes add to the overall aesthetic of the dial.
The watch is presented on a gray M-branded nylon strap with a stainless steel butterfly buckle. The strap is easy to change, so you can customize the look of the watch to suit your mood.
The Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Only Watch 2023 has an anticipated price range between CHF 25,000 and CHF 35,000.
