It wasn’t long ago when the famous actor Daniel Craig, renowned for his portrayal of the iconic spy James Bond, was spotted wearing a no-date model of the Seamaster Diver 300M at the Summer Olympics. It might’ve been an intentional tease by Omega; whichever the case, here’s the official release now; Omega Seamaster Diver 300M No-Date watches.

What’s common between the references is the 42mm stainless steel case that has a slightly thicker profile this time around at 13.8mm compared to the previous models, whereas the lugs are shorter with a distance of 49.7mm. The definitive Seamaster elements include bombé lugs, notched bezel, crown guards and a helium escape valve at 10 o’clock. The watch is water-resistant to 300 meters and features a domed sapphire crystal.

The materials differ between the references, one model has the black aluminum insert while the other has the titanium bezel with a laser-ablated insert. Both bezels are unidirectional and are treated with Super-LumiNova markers; aluminum insert with white lume whereas the titanium one has lume only on the triangle pip.

There are two dial variations, the first model stays close to the aesthetics of earlier Seamaster models with a laser-engraved wave pattern over a black aluminum dial. The more rebellious model has a vertically brushed steel PVD-coated dial for a muted, textured appearance. The logo and text on the dials contrast with the dial shade. Omega hasn’t included a date feature in both of these models.

Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the Master Chronometer certified automatic Calibre 8806, beating at 25,200vph and providing a 55-hour power reserve.

The Seamaster Diver 300M No-Date comes on a stainless steel mesh bracelet or a black/gray rubber strap. Prices start at USD 5,900 on a rubber strap and USD 6,500 for mesh bracelet.
