Although this year doesn’t mark the 90th anniversary of the inaugural launch of Radiomir, that’s going to be next year, but Panerai has already started celebrating, case in point, the new Radiomir Perpetual Calendar GMT Goldtech PAM01453 watch.

PAM01453 measures 45mm in diameter and features a significant height with the case made from Panerai’s unique Goldtech that gives off a warm glow while maintaining the ruggedness typical of the Radiomir. The water resistance is 100 meters.

PAM01453 has a sandwich dial construction with white sun-brushed finish, a simple but effective layout where a central handstack showcases the hours and minutes, along with a 24-hour GMT hand. You’ll also find a day-date display at 3 o’clock, while a subdial at 9 o’clock shows small seconds and a day/night indicator.

Confined inside the case is the Panerai’s Calibre P.4100. A micro-rotor and double barrel system equipped affair, offering a 72-hour power reserve and allowing for easy adjustments to the calendar and other functions without any tools, simplifying user experience. It’s truly remarkable that all functions are adjustable by the single crown. You can see a lot of extra features through the see-through back of the watch.

The brown alligator strap that the PAM01453 comes on, complements the gold case perfectly. It retails for $46,200 and is available only through Panerai’s boutiques.
