TAG Heuer has a habit of dropping jaw-dropping limited editions, no complaints here whatsoever. Since its introduction in the 1960s, the Carrera itself has undergone various transformations, but always stayed true to its racing DNA. Continuing the legacy, now TAG Heuer has dropped another gorgeous Carrera with a vibrant green dial, the Carrera Chronograph Europe Limited Edition.

The new Carrera Chronograph is housed in a robust 42 mm x 15.75 mm stainless steel case. The case is a study in contrast, with brushed and polished surfaces that highlight the watch’s sleek, dynamic lines. Its integrated lugs and chunky pushers add to the watch’s athletic character, while an antireflective box-shaped sapphire crystal gives the watch a retro flair.

We’ve seen the Carrera in countless iterations, this green-dialed version is the newest take on the classic chronograph. The sunray-brushed green dial does well to capture the essence of classic racing colors with a modern interpretation, thanks to its vibrant hue. Brown subdials at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions provide a striking contrast, while a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock along with a date window, keeps the dial balanced and visually appealing. Bright yellow chronograph hands pop against the green dial to finish the look.

Beating underneath is the powerhouse Heuer 02 in-house movement, known for its reliability and impressive 80-hour power reserve. The open-worked rotor allows you a peek at the intricate mechanics.

The Carrera Chronograph Europe Limited Edition comes strapped to a brown leather rally-style strap with a stainless steel folding clasp. This limited edition of 600 pieces is exclusively available in Europe, and it’s priced at €6,200.
