TAG Heuer’s deep-rooted association with the world of racing is reflected in the iconic design of their timepieces. The brand’s Monaco collection, with its distinctive square shape and rich heritage, has an undeniable timeless appeal. In celebration of the 80th Monaco Grand Prix, the brand has unveiled three mesmerizing creations—the new TAG Heuer Monaco Skeleton Dial watches.
The cases are constructed from sandblasted grade 2 titanium and black DLC titanium, and like always for Monaci, the case exudes a rugged yet sophisticated appeal. The case size is 39mm x 14.7mm. The black variant showcases red accents, while the other black model features exquisite turquoise details, adding a touch of vibrancy to the overall design.
TAG Heuer has employed a captivating openwork skeleton design. The intricate details and precision of the skeletonized dial provide a mesmerizing view into the watch’s inner workings.
The hands, indexes, and date window are all treated with Super-LumiNova, creating a striking contrast against the black and turquoise colorway.
Underneath the skeleton dial and visible through the caseback beats the Caliber HEUER 02 Automatic movement, With a power reserve of 80 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The watches come with blue or black calfskin and rubber straps. They have folding clasps and double safety push buttons. The blue and black dial titanium versions cost CHF 10,500, while the black DLC titanium model costs CHF 11,000. They will be available in May 2023.
