ArtyA is an independent watchmaking brand founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 2008 by Yvan Arpa. The brand is known for its innovative and avant-garde approach to watchmaking, and its watches are often characterized by their use of unique materials and techniques. ArtyA has a wide range of watches in their collection, from simple dress watches to complex tourbillons. The brand’s watches are priced from a few thousand dollars to several hundred thousand dollars.
ArtyA’s latest timepiece, the Purity Moissanite, is a unique watch with stunning new case material. The 45mm x 13.8mm case is made of moissanite, a naturally occurring silicon carbide that is second only to diamond in terms of hardness. The moissanite case is faceted to create a dazzling rainbow effect, and it is the first time that this material has been used in watchmaking.
The Purity Moissanite also features a new manufacture movement, the Purity. The Purity is a high-flying 4Hz movement that is 100% skeletonized to reveal its inner workings. The movement is hand-beveled and finished to the highest standards
The Purity Moissanite is a limited edition watch, and it is available on a high-quality handmade leather strap. The Purity Moissanite is expected to fetch CHF 40,000 – 50,000 at the Only Watch auction.
