Born in 1993, Seiko’s Landmaster collection is celebrating its 30th anniversary by releasing the Seiko Prospex SLA071 Landmaster 30th Anniversary limited edition – honoring the series’ legacy of reliability and robustness with modern design and upgraded features.

The SLA071 boasts a 42mm x 12.7mm titanium case with a super-hard coating and retains the Landmaster series’ signature bi-directional rotating bezel with a compass scale. Its sapphire crystal with super-clear coating ensures excellent visibility and is water-resistant up to 200 meters.

The vista from the summit of Mount Everest inspired the SLA071’s blue gradient dial. As the climber ascends, the dial gradually changes to dark blue, symbolizing the majesty of the universe. Markers and Lumibrite-filled hands ensure exceptional legibility in low-light conditions.

The in-house Calibre 8L35 automatic movement, based on the Grand Seiko Calibre 9S55, drives the SLA071, offering a 50-hour power reserve and a daily accuracy rating of +15 to -10 seconds.

The SLA071 features a 20mm titanium bracelet with a secure clasp for easy length adjustment, even over heavy Arctic clothing.

The Seiko Prospex SLA071 Landmaster 30th Anniversary is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, available in November 2023 for EUR 2,800.
