Pierre DeRoche’s TNT Royal Retro model is unique as it has four (4) retrograde seconds’ hands function on four 10-second sectors. Coupled with two additional complications such as a power reserve and a date function, this particular piece is sophisticated. The skeleton case makes it a visual wonder.

Honestly, I don’t get the need for the 4 retrograde second hands in 4 separate sectors of 10 seconds each. What about the final 20 seconds of the minute? Do we just assume it?
Engineering wise, it is an excellent piece of machinery.
