TAG Heuer has a long and storied history in motorsport, and the Monaco Chronograph Racing Blue Limited Edition is a modern interpretation of one of the brand’s most iconic watches. The Monaco was first introduced in 1969, and it quickly became a favorite among racing drivers and enthusiasts alike. The watch’s square case and chronograph functions made it a perfect companion for the track, and its distinctive blue dial became instantly recognizable. The new TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Racing Blue celebrates the illustrious legacy of the brand entwined with the thrilling world of competition cars. Dazzling shades of blue pay tribute to the iconic French Racing Blue, showcasing a unique blend of heritage and modernity.

The case is made of sandblasted Grade 2 titanium, which is both lightweight and durable, measuring 39 mm in diameter and 14.35 mm in thickness. The sandblasted finish gives it a matte, textured look. This finish is both stylish and durable, and it helps to protect the case from scratches and other damage. The case is also equipped with a screw-down crown and caseback, further enhancing its water resistance which is 100 meters.

The watch’s allure lies in its silvered sunray brushed dial, adorned with contrasting azure sub-dials. To ensure excellent readability, eight applied, silvered hour markers and 12 blue dot markers grace the dial. Standing out boldly, the faceted baton marker at 12 o’clock features a vibrant yellow stripe, serving as a direct link to the chronograph’s central hand. Adding to its charm, the hour and minute hands are enhanced with blue Super-LumiNova, ensuring easy legibility in all lighting conditions.

The Monaco Chronograph Racing Blue Limited Edition is powered by the Calibre 11 automatic chronograph movement, which is visible through a sapphire crystal porthole. The movement operates at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 40 hours.

The design continues its captivating theme with a calfskin strap featuring tasteful perforations, it’s blue perfectly complements the color of the sub-dials. The Monaco Chronograph Racing Blue Limited Edition is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, and it retails for Euro 9,300 / US$ 9,200.
